​The National Contract Management Association (NCMA), founded in 1959, is the world’s leading professional resource for those in the field of contract management. The organization, which has over 22,000 members, is dedicated to the professional growth and educational advancement of procurement and acquisition personnel worldwide. NCMA strives to serve and inform the profession it represents and to offer opportunities for the open exchange of ideas in neutral forums.

As an NCMA Chapter, we are a local ambassador of the world’s leading professional resource for those in the field of contract management. We offer education, leadership development, networking opportunities, and valuable resources to professionals in the Houston area.

The chapter was founded in 1966, & is now over 50 years old. It has grown to a membership of over 200 individuals who represent NASA, the major aerospace contractors, and dozens of local aerospace firms. In addition, several members hail from city/state government offices, the engineering and petrochemical industries, and academia.
